Menu Plan 3/1-3/28

I plan my dinner menu 2-4 weeks in advance. I watch for good deals as I cook and move things around within my four week plan.

Week 1 - March 1-7
Sunday - Penne with White Beans and Spinach - Short Stop's Recipe; breadsticks - Mrs. D's recipe
Monday - leftovers
Tuesday - meal at Growth Group
Wednesday - breakfast
Thursday (Date Night) - chicken and rice, corn
Friday - porcupine meatballs, baked potatoes, cream peas
Saturday - leftovers

Week 2 - March 8-14
Sunday - homemade pizza
Monday - sloppy joes, chips, veggies
Tuesday - Chicken Noodle Hold the Soup - Rachel Ray's Recipe
Wednesday - breakfast
Thursday (Date Night) - beef wellington, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole
Friday - birthday party at Valentino's
Saturday - hobo dinners

Week 3 - March 15-21
Sunday - homemade pizza
Monday - tacos, "potato ole's"
Tuesday - meal at Growth Group
Wednesday - french toast, eggs, bacon, fruit
Thursday (Date Night) - club brunch ring, salad
Friday - roasted chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, dilled corn
Saturday - Nacho Pie, salad

Week 4 - March 22-28
Sunday - salad pizza, chicken breasts
Monday - spaghetti, breadsticks, salad
Tuesday - lemon baked cod, mashed potatoes, peas
Wednesday - breakfast
Thursday (Date Night) - Panera Gift Card
Friday - hobo dinners
Saturday - something from the crock pot

That's the plan. Things do have a tendency to change, so we'll see how well I stick to the plan this month. Considering it's "No Spend March" I'll be more diligent at sticking to the menu.

Do you have any good staple meals that you have once a week?

you are organized!

i have considered making a monthly meal plan. we tend to eat the same things over and over, so our grocery bill is pretty consistent. but i have wondered if it would help.

staples in our house,hmmm, tacos.
taco meat turns into mexican pizza, mexican chili, loaded nachos, or taco salad. i love to get 2 or 3 meals out of one dish.

Wow, it still amazes me how you plan so far in advance. It's great, I just couldn't do it.
