I've been compiling a list of my favorite (and easy) Christmas treats. I want to make enough to give away and keep some at home to enjoy. Here's my list for this year. I'll get up the recipes as soon as I make the goodies. Most of them are simple recipes so I hope to get them all done this week. It should be fun!!
Salted Nut Roll Bars
Almond Bark Pretzels
Turtles
Nibble Mix
No-Bake Cookies
Microwave Caramel Corn
Party Mix
Peanut Blossoms
Anise Candy? (There's one ingredient in here that may be hard to find so I'll have to see about this one.)
Pebbernodder
Do you have any yummy goodies you like to make at Christmastime?

I tried a new "goodie" recipe. It was actually recommended by a friend. It's called "Cake Balls". She told me about it and then I went to allrecipes.com and got an actual recipe. It's easy, but takes all day, because you do a step - then refrigerate. I used white cake mix and leftover birthday frosting. We all love them and I'm looking forward to trying new varieties. ex. add flavoring to frosting.
MarRV, I have actually heard of these, but haven't made them. I found them on a blog (http://tinamommyx3.blogspot.com/2008/11/harvest-cake-balls.html) that I frequent and they look so pretty. I'll have to give it a try and let you all know how it goes. Yum!
